We have two options to reach Pokhara. A flight from Kathmandu takes 25-30 minutes, offering stunning views of the Himalayas and rivers. We’ll handle all arrangements for a hassle-free trip. Alternatively, an 8-hour car/jeep ride along the scenic Prithivi Highway includes stops for meals and breaks, passing rivers, forests, fields, villages, and towns. If we fly, we’ll have time to explore Pokhara Valley and enjoy activities like boating on Phewa Lake. If we drive, we’ll arrive in the evening with time to explore Lakeside, witness the Sandhya Aarati ceremony, and shop for trekking essentials. Our overnight stay will be in the Lakeside area.

After breakfast, we will start our journey towards our planned destination for the day. Today we will drive from Pokhara to Hike, which will take around 2 to 3 hours. As we enter the Annapurna Conservation Area, we get closer to Ulleri and leave the more populated areas behind. Ulleri is located at 2070 meters and offers a first glimpse of the Annapurna South. Overnight, we will stay at a comfortable tea house.

Today, after breakfast, our trekking journey towards Ghorepani As we start along the trekking trail, we will be treated to glimpses of Mt. Machhapuchhre. Our trek will lead us through oak and rhododendron forests. After a few hours, we will take a short break at Nange Thanti and have lunch. After a satisfying meal, we will continue our journey to Ghorepani, where we will be able to see the breathtaking views of Mt. Dhaulagiri. Overnight, we will spend a night at a cozy tea house.

Today we will start our journey from Ghorepani. The trail leads us to an uphill climb towards Poon Hill. As we reach the stone steps, we will ascend further to Poon Hill. Poon Hill offers us a panoramic view of the breathtaking Himalayas, including Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Nilgiri. After taking a few photographs at Poon Hill, we will descend to Tadapani. Overnight,  we will stay at a tea house.

After breakfast in Tadapani, our journey continues downhill for the day. Today’s route leads us towards the Jhinu Danda hot springs. As we continue our trial, we will travel through rhododendron forests, then our journey will be decent through Gurung Village and Taulung before arriving at Jhinu Danda. Upon reaching the Danda, we’ll complete our check-in at the lodge and then embark on a brief 20-minute forest walk to the natural hot spring. After a few hours, we will return to the tea house.

After a night spent in Jhinu Dada, you’ll gear up for another captivating day of your trek. Today our trail led us alongside the Modi Khola River. After having lunch at Landruk, we will decent back to Tolkha. Overnight, we will spend a night at a tea house.
